We should expect LSU QB Jordan Jefferson and Coach Myles both to be upbeat about this new season, for one thing Jefferson will almost certainly start this year. Coach Miles has a lot to look forward to as well; once again the Mad Hatter has put together a fine team and has a pretty decent shot at another BCS National Championship Title.
Me? I’m upbeat but patient; I like to fry my eggs one at a time. Let’s work our way into the SEC Championship game first, and then worry about the national title. Usually it bugs me when we start off being ranked highly before the season ever starts, but not this year for some reason.
This season is different. I don’t know if I have matured as a LSU Tigers fan or have gotten more confident in the team or Coach Miles; all I know is that it doesn’t bother me that we have a bull’s-eye on our back already. LSU football will do fine this season, Jordan Jefferson will do fine this season; Coach Les Miles, the “Mad Hatter” will make us proud this season.
Take dat to da bank.
