I remember sitting in my high school history class. My teacher, Mr. Kennedy, was notorious for corny clichés and bad arm pit stains on his dress shirts. He would always say that, “if we don’t learn from our mistakes, we are doomed to repeat them.” Somehow this has always resonated in me.
Many college football fans were bored to death watching the November 5th game of the century. I would argue against that saying it was one of the best games in recent memory, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The first LSU and Alabama game was a heavyweight fight, or the equivalent of a great pitching duel. What we are watching with the current BCS games is nothing more than a welterweight fight. A lot of punches with little to no defense. The two fighting styles are completely different, but make no mistake about what weight class would win the fight.
