LSU will get a chance at revenge from their Monday night loss as early as Wednesday night. Not in football, but in basketball. This is a huge early conference matchup. Both LSU and Alabama have made it thru their non-conference schedule, and both are eyeing possible NCAA tournament births. LSU’s RPI is currently 69, but a win over Alabama on the road would improve their stock. Alabama, 12-4 record, has the 25th toughest strength of schedule and has a current RPI of 16. Remember there aren’t conference divisions in the SEC this year, and the teams are fighting for that fifth place spot in the SEC (the maximum amount of teams the NCAA should take from the SEC)
