According to LSU sports information director Michael Bonette the Mad Hatter will be a part of this year’s NFL Draft coverage on NFL Network. One things for certain, the Saturday, April 28 coverage will be more interesting as a result.

The addition of an SEC coach should come as no surprise to NFL fans considering how many of them end up excelling on the field of battle. The fact that Les Miles was chosen to represent the other SEC coaches is likely to be for three reasons: LSU’s contribution to the NFL, Coach Miles’ personal knowledge of how things work in the NFL, and the mere fact that the TV cameras love the guy.

So far Les Miles’ LSU Tigers football program has brought 8 LSU students into the NFL draft, and this year LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne of Shreveport will most probably go in the first round along with LSU defensive tackle Michael Brockers and LSU wide receiver Rueben Randle of Bastrop.

Be sure and tune in before the draft for an interview with Coach Miles on April 26-27 on the NFL Network.

Geaux Tigers!
