Depth of Tigers takes a Hit

Les Miles announced today that Tahj Jones Junior linebacker and Michael Ford Junior Running Back are academically ineligible for the 2012 season. Both players have set to appeal the ruling but it does not appear if either man will be playing this season.

LSU does have plenty of running backs on hand but none may be as important as Michael Ford. The line backing core was already in players with real game experience and now it will be even harder for John Chavis to get his guys ready to start this season.

Both guys have an uphill battle if they plan to see the field this season. Yet another blow for the Tigers offseason this month.

What’s the dang deal? The best chance we’ve had in years now & our guys don’t care now? We have a QB for a change & now our guys want to fail drug test & class. I don’t like the way this season has started out already!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!
