This weekend will be yet another epic game between the #3 LSU Tigers (4-0) and the #10 Florida Gators (4-0) in the swamp. LSU has been working hard in practice to work on and address the issues we have seen in the last two games.

Good news for the week is LSU fullback J.C Copeland is expected to be in the lineup when LSU steps on the field and get some meaningful snaps in this battle. LSU will need all their guys ready to go come Saturday, as it is never an easy game in Gainesville.

Miles does believe that the offensive line is getting better each week and is happy that they had the game last week against Towson to let some of those guys get live snaps and hopefully remove some errors. We just hope that they got them all out of the way.  Florida is no place to make mental errors or bonehead mistakes.

Quarterback Jeff Driskel is getting better and better every week. He continues to improve and impress. He has completed 55 of his 79 passes this season for 698 yards 4 touchdowns and 1 interception. Driskel has also added 148 yards and 1 touchdown on the ground, which makes him a dynamic player who you must watch at all times. This kid can bury you with his running ability if you do not keep a close eye on at all times.

Florida is led by running back Mike Gillislee 69 carries for 402 yards and 5 touchdowns. He is a versatile back who can run to the outside as well as right at you. Florida will need to keep him involved to not become one-dimensional and try and keep LSU’s defense on its heels.

Florida’s defense is not as revered as LSU’s is, their run defense is shaky at best giving up 159 rushing yards to Kentucky this past weekend. LSU will look to get Florida stacked up in the box guarding against the run and then take some shots deep to Odell Beckham and Kadron Boone.

Florida’s defense also does not get much pressure on the quarterback, this will give Mettenberger time to find an open receiver and maybe even hit a guy downfield. This will all be determined on LSU’s play up front.

The game will be aired on CBS at 2:30 pm CT at Ben Hill Griffen Stadium, Gainesville,
