Less than 24 hours before his team begins SEC play against the Auburn Tigers, Les Miles was enjoying some Friday Night Lights with his bride Kathy and son Ben as the Miles brood watched their son Manny on the field at University High.

Most coaches would be locked in the film room breaking down tape and finding any tells or tendencies to use to LSU’s advantage before the Tiger’s tilt vs. Auburn Saturday at 6:45 from Tiger Stadium. But then again, Miles is not most coaches, and that’s part of what makes him so successful.
Whether it’s his adventurous (crazy) clock management, appetite for sampling some gridiron grass to become one with the field or his collection of memorable press conferences, the head coach of the Tigers is awesome.

Football coaches are too often robots and lacking personality. They become slaves to the game at the cost of their wives and children. You can’t say that about Miles who’s Tigers look to go to 4-0 on the season vs. Auburn and continue their recent run of dominance in the series.
Hopefully Manny quarterbacked his team which also includes LSU commits Garrett Brumfield and Nicholas Broasette and freshman phenom Dylan Moses won their game and the Miles family can make it a perfect 2-0 this weekend.
