Saturday’s game against Dan Mullen’s Mississippi State Bulldog’s can’t come soon enough after the LSU Tiger’s dropped their first game of the season on the road at the hands of the Bulldog’s from Georgia. LSU will look to go 1-1 against teams with the canine as their mascot by picking up their first true road win of the season from Starkville, Mississippi at 6 p.m. CT from Davis Wade Stadium.
The game will be televised on ESPN with Brad Nessler on play-by-play and Todd Blackledge as the color analyst with Holly Rowe serving as the sideline reporter. The LSU Radio Network will carry the audio of the broadcast if you are unable to watch on television.
Mississippi State is 2-2 on the season with wins coming against an FCS team in Alcorn State and Troy from the Sun Belt. Their losses coming to Oklahoma State in the season opener when they lost Russell to a concussion and at Auburn in the final 10 seconds. Mississippi State was idle last week and are expected to get injured quarterback Tyler Russell back for this game.
