This week’s Death Valley Voice has a full in-depth LSU at Mississippi State preview and recaps the defensive lapses vs. Georgia from the Tiger’s 44-41 defeat at the hands of Aaron Murray and company last Saturday.

The podcast starts with us examining if that game told us more about Georgia’s offense or more about LSU’s defense. We go into further detail about the defensive breakdowns in the secondary and discuss if these were isolated incidents or if they are a legitimate cause for concerns. Furthermore, we pontificate about the disappearance of the LSU running game after a clinic was put on display the week before vs. Auburn.

Then we get out our crystal balls and look at the remaining schedule LSU must get through and if it’s possible LSU can run the table for a potential rematch vs. Georgia in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.

Finally, we put the loss to Georgia in the rear view mirror and take a look at what to expect when LSU travels to Starkville to take on Mississippi State on Saturday as the Bulldogs aim to pick up their first win over the Bayou Bengals since Gerry DiNardo was the head coach during a forgettable 3-8 season.
