LSU Tigers vs Florida Gators First Half Highlights

The Florida Gators  managed to slow down the LSU Tigers’ offense in the first half, only allowing 14 points. The LSU defense stepped it up, holding the Gator offense to a mere three points. Below are the highlights and scoring plays from the first half.

On Florida’s first drive they ran the ball effectively, using a lot of clock in the process. The drive lasted for seven minutes and twenty-seven seconds. The drive stalled deep in LSU territory, and Florida kicked a 44 yard field goal. Florida has been having kicking troubles. They called on junior kicker Francisco Velez for his first kick of his colligate career. Velez made the 44 yarder easily.

On third and goal on the half yard line, Mettenberger handed the ball off to the big boy. J.C. Copeland powered his way through the crowed line for his third touchdown on the year.
