LSU (6-1) is coming off a complete victory over the Florida Gators and have moved inside the top six in this week’s AP Top 25 and their Week 8 Opponent, the Ole Miss Rebels (3-3) are coming off a heartbreaking and gut-wrenching loss as time expired vs. the Texas A&M Aggies.

naturally, the Tigers are the favored team in this SEC west showdown and the Tigers are a 7.5 point favorite on most betting sites according to Vegasinsider, but it is as high as an eight point spread depending on what site you look at.

LSU is 4-2-1 against the spread this season and 2-0-1 against the spread on the road where they will be this weekend. The Rebels are 3-3 against the spread and 1-1 against the spread at home.

LSU has won eight of the past 10 matchups in the series, including last year’s thrilling comeback in the final 15 seconds to escape with a 41-35 victory, but are only 3-7 against the spread in the last decade vs. Ole Miss.
