LSU Morning Fix: Les Miles Presser, Recruiting Update, Previewing Ole Miss


For those who have been loyal readers to this daily column over the past month you have known one thing to be consistent and that has been the overwhelming presence of football news and notes in the “morning fix.” However, on this Tuesday morning I have strayed away from the norm and actually included some (gasp) basketball news.

SB Nation’s LSU blog, And The Valley Shook takes a look at the recruiting efforts of Men’s basketball coach, Johnny Jones and the two new commitments he added.

“What LSU gets in Ben Simmons is an athletic forward that can do it all.  He can shoot, put it on the floor and take his man to the hole, he can finish around the rim and he is more than willing to get his teammates involved.”
