On this week’s Death Valley Voice podcast we recap the dominating effort by the LSU defense that limited the Florida Gators to 3.5 yards per play.  This was the best performance by this side of the ball, but was it more a case of a lousy Florida offense or the young defense finally coming together?

We give our keys to victory in the Florida game and put the spotlight on some players who have been under the radar thus far for LSU and they deserved a ton of credit for how these players performed against a very good Florida defense.

The second half of this week’s podcast previews Saturday evening’s game at the Ole Miss Rebels and the key matchups in the game from Oxford, Mississippi. The Rebels took LSU to the brink last year as the Tigers needed some fourth quarter magic from Odell Beckham and a touchdown in the final seconds by Jeremy Hill to win at home.

Will the Tigers be better prepared for an upset-minded Ole Miss team this time around?

At the end of the podcast we give our predictions and final score in this edition of the Death Valley Voice podcast.
