LSU trails Ole Miss 10-0 in Oxford. The Rebels are trying to snap an ugly three game losing streak. It was by far the worst half of football LSU quarterback, Zach Mettenberger, has played this season.

Coming into the game Mettenberger had only thrown two interceptions through seven games. In the first half, Mettenberger threw three interceptions, two in the end zone. He only threw four passes that weren’t completed, but three of his incompletions were caught by an Ole Miss Rebel.

The LSU rushing attack was extremely average in the first half. Kenny Hilliard carried the ball eight times for 44 yards. Jeremy Hill got seven carries for 38 yards.

The first half was all Ole Miss. Jeff Scott is not playing tonight due to a leg injury. No running back has performed well for the Rebels tonight, but a running game has not been necessary with how well Bo Wallace has been playing.

Wallace was Mr. Clutch in the first half. He constantly made big throws on third down. He finished the half going 16 for 23 with 200 yards. If Wallace can keep up this production it will be a long night for LSU.
