It’s homecoming week for LSU as the Tigers welcome the Furman Paladins to Death Valley and the reception won’t be as welcoming as it will be for the tons of alums, fans and students in attendance Saturday evening.

Obviously, things don’t always go according to plan as the Tigers got a reminder of that last Saturday at Ole Miss. However, this weekend will be completely different as the FCS opponent does not boast the type of talent capable of keeping up with LSU who need to come out and score early and often.
The offense has been in a bit of a rut the past two games and this is a prime opportunity to get back on track on both sides of the ball and get momentum heading into the bye week before traveling to Alabama in two weeks.
Expect to see a number of underclassmen on both sides of the ball like backup quarterback Anthony Jennings who has appeared in limited duty as a freshman. It will be a glimpse into the future of LSU as he is expected to be the starter after Zach Mettenberger heads to the NFL after this season.
Prediction: LSU wins 56-10
