LSU improved to 7-2 on the season with their 48-16 win on homecoming over the Furman Paladins, but it didn’t always look as pretty as the final score would indicate for Les Miles and the Tigers.

LSU still is searching for a complete game after a less-than-stellar first half performance before realizing they were LSU and kicked it into gear for the final 30 minutes.

Terrence Magee on his second 100-yard game of the season. Magee also hit the century mark in the win over Kent State. This was the second time this season he and Jeremy Hill each surpassed the 100-yard mark.

Hill had his ninth 100-yard game of his career–19 games–Saturday night and his fifth of the season already. He now ranks fourth in LSU history with 100-yard games. He scored his 11th and 12th rushing touchdown of the year to match his season total in 2012 which leads the SEC in rushing touchdowns.

Zach Mettenberger got off to a rocky start for the second week in a row as he threw an interception that was ran back for a long touchdown in the first quarter, but settled in after that and threw for more than 300 yards and connected with Odell Beckham, Jr on a pair of long touchdowns.

Speaking of Beckham, the dynamic wide receiver had 204 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a monstrous performance.

LSU is off this week before traveling to Alabama on Nov. 9 where the Tigers will be aiming to spoil the Crimson Tide’s perfect season.
