Week 11 2013 BCS Standings: Florida State Seminoles Back in Top 2

With half of the top 10 teams in last week’s BCS standings idle on Saturday we didn’t expect to see much change in Sunday night’s third release of the BCS standings, but for the third week in a row college football sees a new potential championship game.

After the Florida State Seminoles were dropped from the No .2 spot a week ago by the Oregon Ducks, the Noles are back to No. 2 after defeating previously undefeated and No. 7 ranked Miami Hurricanes. While the 2-3 spots continue to fluctuate, the top spot remains constant as the Alabama Crimson Tide maintain their lead over the rest of the college football world.

Here is the top 10 in the Week 11 BCS Standings. You can view the entire top 25 here.

  1. Alabama
  2. Florida State
  3. Oregon
  4. Ohio State Buckeyes
  5. Stanford Cardinal
  6. Baylor Bears
  7. Clemson Tigers
  8. Missouri Tigers
  9. Auburn Tigers
  10. Oklahoma Sooners

Next week’s BCS standings are guaranteed to see some dramatic changes as No. 1 Alabama hosts No. 13 LSU, No. 5 Stanford hosts No. 3 Oregon and No. 6 Baylor hosts No. 9 Oklahoma.

It’s very possible we see a fourth championship game when the fourth release of the BCS standings are released Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. CT. The big question is after seeing changes at 2-3, could we see a change at No. 1?
