Two of the best in the radio business were in Baton Rouge this afternoon when ESPN”s Scott Van Pelt and Ryen Russillo made the trek from Bristol, Conn. to the LSU Parade Grounds to talk with LSU head coach Les Miles about Saturday’s SEC west showdown with the Texas A&M Aggies and Johnny Manziel.

Van Pelt and Russillo cover college football exceptionally well for ESPN, so it was nice to have them in town and give some national attention to this big game as the Aggies make their first visit to LSU since 1994.

The million dollar question for LSU this week and the first one out of the mouth of Van Pelt was how to prepare for Manziel. Miles said, “You try to contain him, you change tactics, you make the day not predictable for him.”

Miles would talk about his defense which he said is “getting better, the game at Alabama, the development of Zach Mettenberger, his future and more. You can listen to the entire interview with Les Miles on with Van Pelt and Russillo and download it.

You can listen to Van Pelt and Russillo weekdays from noon-3 CT on ESPN Radio.
