The last time we saw Les Miles at the podium after an LSU game was two weeks ago and the mood wasn’t so jovial, but tonight was a completely different story after LSU dominated Texas A&M on both sides of the ball in a 34-10 win.

The defense snapped the Aggie’s string of 500-plus yard games and games with 40 or more points in a brilliant afternoon for John Chavis who had a perfect blueprint to contain the reigning Heisman winner. The job of starting freshmen cornerbacks, Tre’Davious White and Rashard Robinson was imperative to the execution of the Chavis blueprint and Miles was quick to point out their efforts.

We also say Odell Beckham, Jr. break the single-season all-purpose yard mark in the second quarter and Jarvis Landry join Beckham in the 1,000-yard club to become the first pair of LSU teammates to accomplish that distinction and third ever in the SEC.
