LSU defensive tackle Anthony Johnson is one of the more talented players at his position in the SEC and with Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies coming to town for a pivotal SEC west showdown, “the Freak” is really pumped up to stop play against the Heisman winner.

The much-hyped Johnson and the LSU defense has done well so far as they forced Manziel and the Aggies to punt on their first drive and limited Manziel to only 2/7 passing and a total of 43 yards. The biggest defensive play came when A&M went for it on 4th and six from the LSU 35 after LSU turned it over on downs and forced Manziel to run and was brought down by Danielle Hunter.
Johnson is going to keep his arms moving to keep the LSU defense playing at the high level they are early on and I wonder if he moves them fast enough if he’ll be able to take flight. We could see something unprecedented if that happens!
In all serious a big game by Johnson against Manziel and this potent Aggie offense would go a long way toward boosting his NFL Draft stock which has gone up and down this season.
