Speedy Noil (New Orleans, LA. Edna Karr) is the nation’s top wide receiver recruit according to the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 11 overall recruit was at LSU this weekend for an official visit where LSU stud wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham took the prized recruit under their wings.

Landry and Beckham will go down in the history books as the best duo in LSU history as the only set of receivers at LSU to top the 1,000-yard receiving mark in the name season, becoming only the third set of SEC teammates to accomplish the feat.

With the duo possibly (likely) moving onto the NFL after the Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day, the next wave of great receivers will need to fill their large shoes and one of them could be the electric Noil who is the second coming of Tavon Austin.

According to Geaux247′s Sonny Shipp, Noil spend a lot of time around the pair and helped Noil feel comfortable and at home at LSU. The 5-10.5, 180-pound receiver with sub 4.4 speed in the 40 has been considered an LSU lean for some time, and I’ve predicted him to commit to LSU and this visit only makes me feel more confident about that prediction.

The Texas A&M Aggies are making a push for the talented Noil who admittedly would be a great fit in the offense they run in College Station, but it’s even more of a challenge when they players the caliber of Landry and Beckham making them feel like they’re at home.

Just imagine how great he would look in an LSU uniform catching passes from Brandon Harris with Trey Quinn and Malachi Dupre out wide with him and Leonard Fournette in the backfield.

This is shaping up to be a heckuva recruiting class with Noil looking like one of the crown jewels.
