Outback Bowl Ticket Information for LSU Tigers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes


LSU will play in the Outback Bowl for the first time in 25 years on New Year’s Day vs. the Iowa Hawkeyes and now you can purchase tickets for the Tiger’s bowl game in Tampa. Fla.

From LSU Sports Information Director, Michael Bonnette via LSUSports, Tickets in the LSU sections of Raymond James Stadium start at $80. To order, visit http://www.lsutix.net/ or call the LSU Athletics Ticket Office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Fans can also call the LSU Athletics Ticket Office at 800-960-8587 or 225-578-2184 to purchase tickets to the game. LSU is allotted 12,000 tickets for the game.

You can also visit the home of the Outback Bowl and you can find out how you can get tickets by phone, mail, in person and on line. You can also go directly to Ticketmaster.

The 9-3 Tigers and 8-4 Hawkeyes last met in the 2005 Capital One Bowl, also in Florida, in a game won by Iowa on a 56-yard pass as time expired. The 1989 appearance vs. Syracuse is the last time LSU has been in the Outback bowl in a game they dropped 23-10 to the Orangemen.

This year’s game starts at noon CT and will air on ESPN. The bowl brings with it a 7.4 million payout.
