LSU returns to practice after taking last week off for final exams and the Tigers as they gear up for the New Year’s Day Outback Bowl vs. the Iowa Hawkeyes with Anthony Jennings under center for the injured Zach Mettenberger.

Here is Les Miles speaking with the assorted media giving a rundown on his confidence in Jennings and how much the offense will change with the dual-threat under center compared to the classic pocket-passer that is Mettenberger. Also Miles discusses the lack of enthusiasm from the LSU fan base when it comes to purchasing Outback Bowl tickets after a report that stated Iowa is nearly doubling them up in ticket sales.

Speaking of the Outback Bowl, Miles talks about some of the Iowa players LSU will have to contend with and makes a startling comparison when asked who Iowa reminds him of and of course the press conference couldn’t wrap up without someone asking Miles about the Texas head coaching vacancy.

Here’s the full video of Coach Miles speaking to the media after Monday’s first bowl practice.
