LSU Tigers vs. McNeese State Cowboys: preview, live stream and prediction

The LSU men’s basketball team are winner’s of eight of their past nine games since they dropped the season opening game 92-90 to UMASS and are coming off their most convincing victory of the season after a 86-63 win over the UAB Blazers last Saturday.

LSU doesn’t figure to be tested too much in Saturday’s contest vs. McNeese State as the Cowboys are 2-9 this season and in the midst of a six-game losing streak. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPN3 and you can watch the live stream

McNeese State is led by 6-3 senior guard Ledrick Eackles who leads the team with 14.3 points per game and 3.1 assists per game. Eackles’ wingman in the backcourt is 6-2 junior guard and Lake Charles, La. native Kevin Hardy who is second on the team in scoring (11.3), rebounds (7) and assists (2.9).

Prediction: McNeese has trouble scoring, shooting, passing and rebounding and are at a big size disadvantage all the while in the middle of a long losing streak and on the road. You see where I’m going with this one. LSU wins big 88-64.

Next: Jan. 4 vs. Rhode Island at 7:00 p.m. CT.
