After serving on Les Miles’ coaching staff for the past seven years, LSU offensive line coach Greg Studrawa left the program today to pursue other career opportunities, according to Miles.
“Stud (Studrawa) was a big part of our success here,” Miles said. “We won a lot of games, including a national championship and four straight 10-win seasons, with him. We appreciate all that Greg did for this program and wish nothing but success for him and his family in the future.”
Now the focus for finding his replacement begins immediately and Coaching Search offers up a candidate with ties to both offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and Miles.
“it will be interesting to see if Baltimore Ravens assistant Andy Moeller joins the LSU staff. The Ravens announced this morning that Juan Castillo would replace Moeller as offensive line coach moving forward. Ravens’ assistant o-line could Todd Washington could be another candidate. Washington recently turned down Steve Sarkisian’s offer to coach the offensive line at USC.”
Moeller is the son of former Michigan Wolverines head coach Gary Moeller who employed Miles as his offensive line coach and Cameron who coached quarterbacks and wide receivers under him in Ann Arbor.
Washington was on Cameron’s staff with the Ravens before Cameron was fired and subsequently hired by LSU prior to this season.
