For the second year in a row the LSU Tigers saw a mass exodus of underclassmen head for the greener pastures of the NFL. While some decisions like redshirt sophomore guard Trai Turner‘s decision to turn pro may not look wise at the moment, the same can’t be said for others like Jeremy Hill and Odell Beckham Jr who find themselves near the top of their respective positions for the 2014 NFL draft.

NFL Media Analyst Bucky Brooks released his top five at each position with Hill, Beckham and Zach Mettenberger, recovering from ACL surgery, making the cut.

These pre-draft lists are a fluid situation with the NFL combine next month and schools holding their pro day’s into the spring, so take this with a grain of salt, but it is a good indication of where these players stack up against their fellow draft entrants.

Let us take a closer look at each of the three prospects and what Brooks, a former NFL scout, has to say about the three LSU prospects who were so instrumental to the Tigers winning 10 games for a fourth straight season.
