Here are five players to watch during Saturday’s showdown between the LSU Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks at Tiger Stadium.

The South Carolina Gamecocks roll into Baton Rouge this weekend for an unconventional home game against the LSU Tigers. The game will be played at LSU’s Tiger Stadium due to tragic flooding throughout the state of South Carolina.

The catastrophic events in the aftermath of Hurricane Joaquin will certainly be at the forefront of the discussion surrounding the game, but there are also plenty of storylines to take place on the field.

For the Gamecocks, Perry Orth will be making his second career start. The junior quarterback and former walk-on will attempt to lead South Carolina to its first SEC victory of 2015 against a talented defense that has the ability to take over a game.

Several storylines loom this weekend regarding LSU as well. There are injured players returning to action, a Heisman Trophy candidate looking to keep up his record-setting pace and other players who are looking to get back on the right track after a letdown last week.

The game will serve of great importance for both teams, as one looks to add to its College Football Playoff resume, and the other attempts to salvage its season. Here are five players to watch this Saturday when LSU hosts South Carolina.
