Editorial Staff

Eric Slater, editor

Attended LSU for grad school; received Master's of Journalism in 1985. Began to bleed purple and gold the moment I stepped on campus in 1983. Worked in radio for many years. Now a copyright attorney and adjunct professor.

Cameron Roberson, Staff Writer

I muse and ramble about LSU sports daily. History buff & creative thinker. Coming at you from the Deep South & the heart of LSU Land, Baton Rouge.

Kourage Kundahl, Staff Writer

I may be new to the Louisiana gumbo of humanity, but I'm catching up quickly. I also didn't believe at first that the SEC was the most powerful conference, but I'm warming to the idea. As an LSU freshman, I can watch the Tigers with wide eyes and a different perspective. I'm a football fan (who isn't?) but baseball is my first love. Before Death Valley Voice, I spent two years writing about the Cincinnati Reds for blogredmachine.com and bluewahoosblog.mlblogs.com.

Jacob Mayer, Staff Writer

Jacob is a New Orleans native and LSU Tiger Band alum with years of experience in radio and online media. Now covering LSU sports for Death Valley Voice, Jacob's former assignments include covering the New Orleans Saints and Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.

About FanSided

FanSided was born in 2007, when two brothers felt that their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, was being under-covered by the mainstream media. Taking matters into their own hands, they launched Arrowhead Addict, a move that would spawn a network of over 290 fan-powered unique sports and entertainment sites dedicated to team-specific, sport-specific, genre-specific, and fanbase-specific coverage.

From sports, movies and TV to lifestyle and tech, FanSided has you covered.
