The out-of-state talent that will be flying in all comes from Texas and are all defensive backs. No. 9 overall recruit and No. 3 cornerback Tony Brown, LSU commit and No. 4 safety, Edward Paris and No. 2 safety Jamal Adams will get the red carpet treatment.

In the same vein that Alexander visiting along with Noil and Willis is beneficial the same can be said about Paris visiting with Brown and Adams as he can be in the ear of them both all weekend and serve as an honorary recruiter. Another bonus for LSU is that Paris, committed since February, is he’s close friends with Adams and that can help close the gap between LSU and his perceived leaders Texas and Florida.

LSU has already made up considerable ground for Adams after getting into the race later than his other finalists, but this return trip to Baton Rouge is going to be tantamount to his final decision. This is the second trip in as many weeks for Adams to LSU and he was also paid a visit from Corey Raymond on Tuesday. LSU is showing Adams how much they want him and need him.

I recently changed my crystal ball pick for Adams from Florida to LSU. The disappointing season at Florida and a potential shakeup with Joker Philips leaving the Gators could have Adams looking at LSU because of his fondness of playing in the SEC.
