Odell Beckham one-handed catch for LSU in Outback Bowl (GIF)

With Anthony Jennings under center for the LSU Tigers today in the Outback Bowl there haven’t been many opportunities for star receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham, Jr to make plays in the passing game.
But midway through the third quarter Beckham got an opportunity and what he did next dropped the jaws of everyone watching with this ridiculous one-handed grab for 29 yards.
Beckham has two total receptions on the day for 35 yards and is the team’s leading receiver so far from a rainy Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.
Jennings hasn’t been asked to do too much in the passing game in his first career start and is only 6/16 passing for 78 yards and an interception that we thought was ran back for a touchdown, but after an officials review, the Iowa defender fumbled the ball inside the one-yard line after flipping the ball in celebration.
Beckham was the Paul Hornung Award winner as the nation’s most versatile player and had a chance to set an SEC mark for all-purpose yards with a big game, but it doesn’t look like that may happen today.
However, this one-handed grab may move him up on some NFL team’s draft boards.
