9.) LSU will be able to get touchbacks on kickoffs every single time. Whether it be Trent Domingue or Cameron Gamble, both kickoff specialists can boot it through the back of the end zone. Returners won’t even have a chance. The rest of LSU’s special teams looks to be a strength again this year.
Colby Delahoussaye did miss an extra point early in the game against the Bearkats, but he remains perfect on field goals. Tre’Davious White hasn’t had many opportunities yet on punt return, but he has the speed to be successful. Leonard Fournette looks solid on kick return duty and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him return one for a touchdown before too long. His speed and size are an asset at that position.
