2.) Speaking of Travin Dural, we might as well just call him Mr. Deep Ball. After two games, he averages nearly 50 yards a reception. LSU has either gained a first down or scored on every reception he’s ever made in his career. That’s obviously an untenable pace going forward, but his ability to stretch the field allows offensive coordinator Cam Cameron run the offense the way he wants to. Dural has announced to us all that he’s the deep threat the LSU offense needs.

News of a car accident Sunday may slow his torrid pace, as Dural required 15 stitches on his forehead, according to reports from The Advocate. The doctors have cleared him for this weekend, provided he can get his helmet on. The Tigers shouldn’t need Dural against ULM to win the game, so if there’s a silver lining it’s that this isn’t a big weekend. Even thought he may not play, Dural will continue to be the Tigers top threat down the road.
