3.) Brandon Harris might well be worth the hype. With his first game jitters against Wisconsin aside, he showed Saturday his immense arm strength and talent running the football. Harris’ 46-yard touchdown run showed off his legs & his ability to break tackles as well. Harris also completed 4 of 5 passes, including a beautiful toss to fellow freshman Malachi Dupre in the end zone.

Anthony Jennings is LSU’s QB right now, but it’s already clear Brandon Harris is the future. Harris pushed Jennings all through spring and fall camp, which has continued into the season. Look for Harris to continue to get game reps, not only to give him valuable experience in case Jennings goes down, but to also prepare him to be the starter later down the road.

Both quarterbacks seem to feed off the competition between them, which only serves to make them better.
