The LSU football team is loaded with talent once again in 2015. Which players flying under the radar could become household names by the end of the season?

Every year, the LSU football team has breakout players that emerge from obscurity and into the spotlight.

In 2014, linebacker Kendell Beckwith was a perfect example. Although he was a highly touted recruit coming out of high school, he did not show much promise as a freshman. Beckwith recorded just 11 total tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss in limited action that season, while appearing that he might be best served as a defensive lineman.

As a sophomore, however, he took over the starting middle linebacker job midway through the season. After doing so, Beckwith established himself as a leader of the defense, finishing the year with 77 total tackles, two sacks, 7.5 tackles for loss and one interception returned for a touchdown.

This season, there are several candidates to follow in Beckwith’s footsteps.

Whether they are seasoned veterans hoping to make one final lasting impact on the program, younger players that are looking to establish themselves for the first time or incoming freshmen that are already prepared for the big stage, these players will play a major role in the Tigers’ success this season.

Here are five players flying under the radar that will make an impact for the LSU football team in 2015.
