In just two years at LSU, Leonard Fournette has been no stranger to making history. He made more in the 2015 Texas Bowl, a game that saw him rush for four touchdowns and catch one. After tying the school record for rushing touchdowns in a season during the first quarter, he rushed for his 20th in the third, a 43-yard score to put the Tigers up 28-20.
Leading by just one, LSU kept at it with Fournette, who paid it off with a touchdown that started a 21-0 run for the Tigers. He later added two more rushing touchdowns to extend his own school record to 22, adding the final touches to the victory that closed out the Tigers’ 2015 season.
