Kevin Toliver II

The LSU football program has earned the moniker of “Defensive Backs U” over the years, producing countless stars in the defensive secondary. Toliver is primed to become the latest standout cornerback from the heralded position group.

The Jacksonville, Florida native was an early enrollee in the class of 2015 and immediately lived up to his blue chipper status.

In his first career game at LSU, Toliver recorded seven tackles, including six solo, and one diving pass breakup.

The freshman sensation played in all 11 games at cornerback for LSU, starting in seven.

For a program that prides itself on a ferocious defense like LSU does, Toliver’s freshman experience is invaluable, as he will likely line up opposite of senior cornerback Tre White, forming one of the best cornerback tandems in the Southeastern Conference.

Though LSU is blessed with an wealth of talent in the secondary, Toliver rose to the top during his inaugural season in the purple and gold, and should blossom into one of the most feared corners in college football this season.
