The LSU Men’s Basketball program is currently experiencing a period of renewed interest and optimism following a robust recruiting class and an increased media profile this past season. We will take a look back at Johnny Jones’ four seasons as coach and try to decide who his best players have been.

Johnny Jones’ first stint as a Tiger came in 1980 when, as a freshman, he played on a legendary LSU basketball squad that finished with a record of 31-5 and battled its way to the Final Four.

He later worked for thirteen years as an assistant to Dale Brown and finally came to the helm of LSU’s basketball program in 2012. As fans grow more optimistic about the future of the program following a strong recruiting class and a blooming of team media coverage this past season, we will take a look back into the recent past.

Many players have seen the court in the four seasons since Johnny Jones arrived, but which 10 have had the greatest impacts?
