8. Antonio Blakeney

I fully expect that by the end of his LSU career (most likely next year), Antonio Blakeney will both be drafted into the NBA and also leapfrog several players ranked higher on this list.

He came into the season with high expectations—having been ranked the overall No.13 recruit in the country by Rivals and as having the “No. 3 shooting game” in the nation by ESPN. Antonio played in every game this past season and hit double digit point totals in 21 of them, also scoring over 20 points in eight of them.

In addition to being an elite sharpshooter—Blakeney has staked out a reputation as one of the most high-flying finishers in the NCAA. Whether pulling up or catching lobs, He brings elite athleticism to court with an astounding measured vertical of 45 inches, and will have an opportunity to take the reigns as the presumptive leader of next year’s squad.
