6. Tim Quarterman

Former Tiger PG Tim Quarterman just recently hired an agent and declared for Thursday’s NBA Draft. Though ESPN writer Chad Ford says that Quarterman was “largely overshadowed” by the presence of Ben Simmons his final season, devoted LSU fans will know his game very well.

The lanky 6’6″ guard has a 6’10” wingspan that appeals to NBA scouts (à la Warriors G Shaun Livingston) and averaged double figures last season for the Tigers.

Apart from his length and size, immediately noticeable is an unselfishness and zeal for delivering good passes to his teammates. Though the team looked a bit dysfunctional at points throughout this last season, Quarterman to Simmons alley-oops was an all too familiar sight for SEC foes. Tim also posted the first triple-double since Shaquille O’Neal two seasons ago and will hope to have his name called during Thursday’s draft.
