No. 4 Jordan Mickey

If you have been reading through this slideshow, you may be asking yourself “where are all the post players?” Well, here they come. Former LSU PF and 2015 Celtics 2nd round draft pick Jordan Mickey was a great player and a double-double machine for the Tigers.

This was something fans quickly learned, as Mickey hit double figures in both points and blocks in each of his first three games as a freshman in 2014.

As a sophomore, Mickey led the NCAA in blocks and joined the company of all-time Tiger great Shaquille O’Neal as only the second player in the program’s history to rack up 100 blocks in a season. Mickey was a strong finisher in his time at LSU and in addition to his elite block averages also used his athleticism and agility to finish many a fast break and put-back slam while with the Tigers. He was named a 2016 D-League All Star for the Maine Red Claws and will likely see NBA action much more as he progresses through his professional career.
