No. 6 Travin Dural

When WR Travin Dural tore his hamstring last November, LSU Tigers fans collectively groaned. Exceptional hands and breakneck 4.4 40-yard dash speed make Dural a receiver who racks up yardage and touchdowns at an extraordinary rate. He had also become one of the Tigers’ leading pass catchers prior to injury. Incredibly, of Dural’s 72 career receptions, more than 75 percent of them have led to either first downs or touchdowns.

The Louisiana native is entering his fifth year at LSU (after redshirting as a freshman due to injury), and will look for solid QB play to propel him forward into the ranks of former elite LSU WRs like Odell Beckham Jr., Reuben Randle, and Jarvis Landry.

Dural’s hands and ability to hold on to the ball consistently and hit the turbo button once he has it make him a top-flight draft prospect. Of course, his production will vary greatly depending on both LSU’s dependence on Leonard Fournette and the run game’s success as well as the progress of Brandon Harris. If Dural can put together a solid, healthy year for the Tigers, that could easily result in him being chosen high up in next year’s draft.
