Ready to Geaux

There is nothing more exciting than beginning a new chapter. Whether it is starting a new job, a new house, or even Chapter 2 in that book you are reading. For me, this is my first step into a new chapter. Let me start with a proper introduction… Hello everyone, my name is Alex Gomez and I am the new site expert here at Death Valley Voice. I am excited to be able to bring the great Tiger Nation something about anything that is everything about Tiger athletics! I hope to do this in several different ways, sometimes through an article, social media, and even a weekly podcast. Arguably there is not a more exciting time to cover LSU and I could not feel like the timing could be more right to get started. But with that being said, who am I and why should you read all that excitement with me and Death Valley Voice? Here is what you need to know:

I do offer some experience when it comes to covering the SEC, as in the past I have worked for numerous sites, mostly covering Mississippi State. If you take a look at my Twitter (@ragomez17), you will see a good bit of Maroon and White, but there is no need to fear as it soon will be painted with Purple and Gold. I am a college student, currently majoring in Communications, and have been a social media manager in the past for several different sites.

I want to thank FanSided for giving me this opportunity and a big thank you to all the LSU fans who will be reading and listening to all the post this season. The possibilities and ceiling here is endless. Much like the football team this year, this can be a special year for this athletic program and I am blessed to be a part. Geaux Tigers!
