It can’t get any better for LSU Football; Tigers running away with the game before the half, literally.

LSU Football is good. Like really good. We knew coming into the game that this team was one of the better teams we have had in years. We also knew it was going to be some bad defense from Ole Miss. But did anyone really see this beat down coming? One of the more anticipated games of the week has been all Tigers, and no one is complaining about that, but… well… Ole Miss fans. They are having a meltdown on Twitter, and it is well worth a look:

This has been a complete of a half and as dominate as a half that maybe any team has played in the country. This the game that everyone has looked forward to with Joe Burrow, the running game, and the defense all clicking at one time. Different parts of the season has featured all of these part clicking, but with them all hitting at once, it makes this team look like they could beat anyone in the country.

With this team playing fun, physical football for their head coach and their fans, it is a scary mix and it is showing so far. Joe Burrow has played out of his mind, and the offensive line doesn’t look the least bit affected by the injuries. Oh, and did I mention that DBU is back and Grant Delpit has introduced himself on a big stage. Goal line stand? Yes they did that, too (Thanks ref!). This team is LEGIT.

Being up 25 at the half, it will be important to use the depth of this team and still manage to keep the foot on the gas. There is not much that has gone wrong in the game, besides maybe the two fumbles towards the end off the half and a couple of silly penalties. One fumble was ultimately overturned by a penalty but it was still a fumble none the less.

It will be up to Coach O to continue to keep the offense humming and keep the quick strike Ole Miss passing game in check, but now anything and everything is working for the Tigers. Tigers are up at the half 28-6.
