Alex Bregman: The MLB gets their next villain, Bad-Man Breg-Man.
By Alex Gomez
Baseball has been looking for someone to market, and now it seems they have found someone… and a former Tiger at that. The Ringer has declared Alex Bregman the next MLB Villain.
With baseball struggling a little bit with a lack of marketability, they may have just got their answer. One of the best players to play Tiger baseball, Alex Bregman, has been dubbed one of the next MLB Villains. Players like Alex Rodriguez, Yasiel Puig, Bryce Harper, and the great Barry Bonds are all known to be some of the villains in baseball, so you can see the weight that this title carries. Currently playing out of his mind in the Astros playoff run, he is getting a lot of deserved attention. As we all know, every iconic villain has an even more iconic name to go with them. Names like The Joker, Green Goblin, and A-Rod are all names that come to mind… what will Alex Bregman have? Well we are trying to figure that out:
You can check out our contest on Twitter, as seen above, and Facebook! Winner of the contest will win two tickets to the LSU game on November 17th.
