Former LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr was feeling quite generous after watching the Tigers win the national championship on Monday night.

Former LSU Tigers wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr was so happy on Monday night after watching his former college team win the national championship against Clemson that he was handing out wads of cash to players.

Seriously.

A reporter tweeted a video from the field after the game which captured Beckham handing a massive wad of cash to wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jontre Kirklin.

Hopefully this was just for the cameras, because if not I’m sure there the NCAA will quickly be asking questions in Baton Rouge.

Jefferies, a junior who caught nine passes for 106 yards in the title game, is likely heading to the NFL (though that doesn’t make handing cash to him ok according to the NCAA).

Kirklin, however, caught only two passes for 75 yards all season. He will absolutely be back at LSU next season (barring a transfer, which isn’t expected). If he took cash from Beckham, it will definitely be a problem with the NCAA.

Of course, there were several LSU officials standing all around Beckham and players on the field while the team celebrated. They definitely saw Beckham’s move and I’m sure they made sure to handle it.

Either way, it was fun to see Beckham celebrate the win with LSU — especially since he never won a championship while at LSU.

Next. LSU's 2020 QB might not be on the roster yet. dark

So maybe the NCAA can excuse him for getting a little excited.

Update: A LSU official told The Advocate that OBJ was handing out “fake money”.
