LSU Football: Power ranking the most stacked SEC head coaching lineup ever
By Zach Ragan
8. Jeremy Pruitt — Tennessee
Mark Stoops was almost in this spot, because of his proven track record at Kentucky.
But I couldn’t put Stoops above a coach that he’s 0-2 against.
Jeremy Pruitt took over a tough situation at Tennessee and went 5-7 in his first season (with a win against Auburn).
The 2019 season, however, started out disastrous. Back-to-back season opening losses against Georgia State and BYU nearly sank the Vols’ season before it even got started.
But Pruitt managed to keep his team focused and Tennessee reeled off six straight wins to finish the season with an 8-5 record.
