Andy Reid wants former LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss on the Kansas City Chiefs

Andy Reid just won the Super Bowl, but he’s already thinking of ways to improve the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020.
During an interview with ESPN on Sunday night, shortly after the conclusion of Super Bowl LIV, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid made it clear that he’d love to have former LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss on his roster next season.
Reid made the comment to Moss’ father, Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, who now works for ESPN.
Moss responded to Reid that if the Chiefs have room for Thaddeus, he’ll send him over to Kansas City.
The Chiefs already have a great tight end in Travis Kelce, but Reid knows how to use talented players. I’m sure he could come up with some creative ways to use Moss.
Of course, the Chiefs would have to hope they land Moss in the 2019 NFL Draft (unfortunately for dad Randy, he can’t just send Thaddeus to the Chiefs).
Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller has Moss going to the New England Patriots in the third round in his latest mock draft.
The Chiefs actually have the No. 96 overall pick (the Patriots’ No. 97 overall pick is a projected compensatory selection), so they could have a legitimate chance to land LSU’s single season all-time leader in receptions by a tight end.
Then again, Moss could raise his draft stock at the combine or his pro day, so it’s quite possible he’ll be selected before the third round.
I don’t know how high Moss will be on the Chiefs’ draft board, but it’s obvious that Andy Reid is a fan.
