LSU football made quite an impact on 2020 four-star wide receiver Alex Adams.

2020 four-star wide receiver Alex Adams spent the early part of 2019 committed to Mississippi State, but on Wednesday he signed with LSU football.

Adams, 6-foot-1/175 lbs from Magnolia, MS (South Pike), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 8 player in the state of Mississippi and the No. 63 wide receiver in the nation.

The Mississippi native committed to LSU in late January after a trip to Baton Rouge that made quite an impact on the dynamic wide receiver.

Adams told 247Sports after his visit that he “just loved it at LSU”, while adding “I couldn’t stop thinking about making it my home. I can’t wait to get me one of the lockers and be a part of the team.”

The addition of Adams to LSU’s 2020 signing class helps ease the pain of the loss of top 100 recruit Rakim Jarrett, who signed with Maryland during the early signing period.

It’s obvious from Adams’ comments that LSU is an incredibly special place. To see a four-star recruit shut it down after visiting Baton Rouge shows you what Ed Orgeron has built over the last couple of years at LSU.

I’m sure there are a lot of folks out there who think LSU’s 2019 season was an aberration. But if LSU keeps recruiting at this level, there’s no doubt they’ll continue to compete for championships in the coming years.

Next. Don't fret over LSU missing on four-star DT. dark

The Tigers, by the way, finished with the No. 4 ranked 2020 recruiting class (No. 3 in the SEC).
