Marlon Martinez — OL — 3-star

6-foot-5/290 lbs — Fort Lauderdale, FL — No.17 ranked offensive guard

Winning the SEC is all about winning in the trenches, right?

Marlon Martinez probably won’t be a star in the SEC. And I don’t know if he’s a future NFL player or not.

But I think Martinez can be an extremely vital part of LSU’s football team for the next several seasons.

Martinez is a versatile offensive lineman that can play anywhere on the offensive line (mainly inside, but he could move to tackle in a pinch).

The Florida native is the type of utility offensive lineman that programs absolutely need. Injuries are inevitable. Martinez will provide LSU with quality depth and give Coach O and his staff an reliable option to plug into the Tigers’ offensive line rotation at anytime.
