The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to take LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the top selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Joe Burrow is expected to be the first overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The former LSU quarterback is the consensus top player in the draft. And the Cincinnati Bengals, who need a quarterback, have the No. 1 pick.

But lately there’s been a feeling that Burrow might not want to go to the Bengals.

So far it’s been mostly noise from talking heads with nothing better to talk about in February. But some recent comments from Burrow suggest that he could try to manipulate his way out of Cincinnati.

The feeling is that Burrow might not want to go to the Bengals because the franchise isn’t committed to winning a Super Bowl.

That perception probably isn’t fair, considering Cincinnati went to the playoffs six times from 2009-2015.

While that perception might not be fair, it’s still how the Bengals are viewed. If they want to change that perception, there are three moves they can make before the 2020 NFL Draft to ease any concerns Burrow might have about going to Cincinnati.
